First let me thank the developer of Serpent UXP for their work - much appreciated.

Now, if I try and go to this site
https://www.gibson.com/guitars/sg
I can't do anything with the webpage.
There is an invisible cookie settings "popup" that does not show and cannot be interacted with or dismissed.

I've checked in preferences and can't find anything to help. Can this be fixed?

Looks like modern JS is an obstacle to it. Will take a look and will keep you updated about it.
Works fine for me on the latest build as of now (52.9.0), here are the binaries for each:
-64- : https://o.rthost.win/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.8.win64-git-20210508-e29e57e-uxp-e7e63565e-xpmod.7z
-32- : https://o.rthost.win/basilisk/basilisk52-g4.8.win32-git-20210508-e29e57e-uxp-e7e63565e-xpmod.7z
Beware that both of these are considered test binaries by roytam so you should expect bugs.

I was using "basilisk52-g4.8.win32-git-20210703-e29e57e-uxp-72d0b8670-xpmod.7z".

I found the problem.
In "Adblock Latitude 5.0.8", "Fanboy's Annoyance List" had a few things blocked which I could turn off and then get the "annoying" cookie settings dialog.
Just so that I don't forget how I got to that, I'll document it here:
  • Click on ABL down arrow and select "Open blockable items"
  • First in the list was something like ###cookie...
  • Right click on that and select "Edit filter in effect"
  • Untick the filter that comes up.

Apologies if anyone has wasted any time on this.

Not at all. If anything, i'm sorry that i haven't found the problem and took so long for such an empty/lazy answer.

Is there any benefit to AdBlock Latitude over uBlock Legacy?

From what i've seen, it's basically a closed source basic adblock that works for it's purposes but wouldn't pick it over ublock.

Ah, that's nice though certain sites have caught onto these old blockers, managed to outplay them and display ads, so you want to catch up on that front but not enough plug-ins are here to aid the cause.
